Routine Eye Exams: Your Path to Lifelong Eye Health
Keeping up with your regularly scheduled annual eye exams is a key part of ensuring that eye diseases, visual skill problems, and difficulties with vision development are all caught early before they can cause irreversible damage and vision loss. Contact our Wyckoff eye care team to find out more.
Eye exams at our Wyckoff eye care clinic include screenings for common eye diseases, evaluation of essential visual skills, and more. We use the latest technologies and techniques to ensure that potential problems with your eyes or vision are caught early enough to allow for effective treatment.
Our eye care team is proud to offer eye exams for the entire family, from as young as 6 months old, all the way up to 100+ years old!
Detection and Treatment of Eye Diseases
Many conditions, including cataracts and glaucoma, don’t show symptoms until they’ve already caused significant and irreversible vision loss and damage to the eye. Our eye care team is proud to offer advanced detection of these and other common eye diseases and conditions.
Our eye clinic has cutting-edge technology that allows for early and accurate detection of common conditions and diseases. This is key to preserving your clarity of vision and eye health as you get older.

Children's Eye Exams
Our eye care team offers children’s eye exams starting at 6 months old. Your baby’s first eye exam is aimed at ensuring that their eye teaming and other visual skills are progressing correctly. Problems with these skills may cause developmental delays that can hinder your baby’s hand-eye coordination, crawling and walking abilities, and more.
After their 6 month exam, your child should have an exam again at 3 and 5 years old, and once a year when they start school.
Back-to-school exams at our Wyckoff optometry clinic include evaluations of both your child’s visual acuity and their mastery of essential visual skills, such as eye tracking and depth perception. We will determine if your child needs vision correction, such as glasses or contacts (or an update for their prescription), and we can help treat any visual skill deficiencies if detected.

Contact Lens Exams
Contact lenses are a great vision correction option for patients who may be tired of the limitations of wearing glasses, or simply want to switch up their look.
Our eye care team offers specialized contact lens exams to ensure that contacts are the right solution for you. We will speak with you about your medical history, lifestyle needs, budget, and expectations, and will run tests for common conditions that may complicate contact lens wear, such as dry eye syndrome or astigmatism.
After speaking to you and running the proper tests, our vision experts will better understand what lenses are right for you. In many cases, we will send you home with a sample pair of contacts to try out before committing to wearing them long-term.
